Upcoming Rigden Weekend

If you’ve completed Level III or higher of the five-weekend Way of Shambhala retreat series (Levels I to V), you may be interested in an upcoming event at our sister centre, the Shambhala Meditation Centre of Toronto. They’re offering a Rigden weekend January 27th to 29th, 2017. This program is available less often than others, as it must be taught by an Acharya —a senior Shambhala teacher and representative of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.

Suzann Duquette, a core faculty member of Shambhala’s Karmê Chöling retreat centre in Vermont will lead the Rigden weekend in January. She’s been involved in Shambhala as a student, leader, and teacher since 1974.

Our own Mississauga centre is hosting Level IV and Level V weekends in October and December respectively, so if you’re interested in attending the Rigden weekend but haven’t completed all five levels, mark your calendar. (Of course, even if you don’t plan on heading to Toronto in January, please join us for Levels IV or V, each offering a full program of sitting practice, talks, food, and other fun.)
